I studied Japanese years ago and my knowledge of kanji has fallen into ruins. By reviewing the kanji its brought them back. Of course, you cant practice writing them and its multiple choice, and the compounds arent there, true. But for systematic practice to widen kanji recognition, it beats flash cards, and it can be scanned rapidly or in more detail. The levels help too. I wish they were introduced in the order they are introduced to Japanese school children, and maybe its close... From common and simple to occsional and complicated. Hey, its a tool, and a lot cheaper than a book, and more fun to use!
